So much going on!

It has been over a month since I have posted. Life has literally gotten in the way. A small recap from the past few weeks.

Des came into to town and we got too meet up for drinks and dinner! It was such a nice visit and I couldn't have asked for a better night. It was so nice to catch up with a distant friend and to know that she is truly happy!!

A couple of weeks ago I spent my two days off in S.F. since the boy was there with work and his work paid for his hotel! It was quality "me" time and I really enjoyed. I got to spend time shopping in Union Square and also got time reading!! I spent hours and hours reading at the park, coffee shop, and border and it was PERFECT. The weather was so nice and I just enjoyed doing the things that I wanted to do.

Also hubby and I started doing the work out program P90X! We L.O.V.E. a friend of ours was doing it and had really good results so he sent us the DVDs thanks Rigo!!!! Christine (Crust as I call her) are doing it together! Its so nice to have a friend to do it with! Crust keep it up one month down only 2 more to go! woo!! Plyo still kicks my ass!!

Vanessa and Anthony welcomed baby Ryan Easton into the world a week ago! We are so happy for them. Hubby and I can't wait to meet Ryan in a few weeks when we make a trip down south!

Justina's wedding is exactly 1 month away! Excited but also ready for it to be over lol. I'm excited that her big day is here but I'm so done with planning and prepping for weddings! On a side note my grandma paid for Henry and I to have a suite in the hotel for the weekend! She is so sweet!! Told her not to worry about it and she said she wanted to do it for us! What a blessing!

Fourth of July weekend my parents AND brother came up for the weekend!! It was probably one of the best weekends I have had ALL YEAR hands down! We spent Sat in the city and were so exhausted by the time we got back home. We did a lot of the touristy things since my brother hadn't been to SF since he was like 13 or 14. We did Fisherman's wharf, china town, went to a really nice dinner and pier 39. Sunday we hung out mom and I went to the farmers market and then we all came back and watched Avatar! Henry and I hadn't seen the movie and surprisingly it was really good!! We later went out to dinner again and had drinks (I prob. had 1 too many). After dinner and drinks we went to Santa Clara central park for the fireworks show! It was so nice! We all loved it we met up with Melanie and her husband after the fireworks and caught up and that was nice too. We all ended the night exhausted again but it was totally worth it. They left today (Monday) after we went to breakfast. Saying goodbye is always the hardest part but it was such a great weekend that I couldn't ask for anything more!

Lately I have been feeling like I am drifting from some of my good/best friends. I know we all have our own lives and we all have other friends but sometimes I just get this feeling like something is missing. Melanie and I have made a deal to hang out once a week. She probably knows more about me than any of my other friends and we have been friends since we were six. We have done EVERYTHING together and have always been there for each other. We both started feeling like we were drifting and that our other friends were "replacing" us. I felt like Glady had taken "my spot" though I absolutely L.O.V.E. Glady and Mel felt that Becky and Samantha were replacing her. I told her that there is no ranking. Becky is a really good good friend of mine and Samantha is one of the best friends that I could ever have! But that's what makes the world go round. They all bring something different to the table and that is why I enjoy being friends with them! So our weekly meet ups have helped us rekindle our friendship and helps me realize why I love her so much as a person as well as my other friends.

The past few months have just been so draining and I promise that I will try and keep up with my posts!! So busy! Crust I need an update on your blog! :)
