We drove to Pulgas ridge. We got set up with water and got Elbee on his harness and started our hike. Seriously just after like 15 min. I was huffing and puffing...terrible!! I am so out of shape it isn't even funny. Ever since I blew out my knee last year I haven't done a lot of hard core exercising so this was a start.
There are two trails. One is straight up hill through the trees and woods (like a regular hike) and the other path is concrete and a little more mild. Of course we did the straight up hill one. Poor Elbee was breathing so hard he was totally looking at us like what are you doing to me, I was not made for this. Well we finally reached the part where you can take your dogs off leash and Elbee LOVED it. He had so much fun playing with all the other dogs and exploring nature.
After a while of letting Elbee play his little heart out we decided to hike back down. I was exhausted having just gotten off work and I was super hungry. We had such a good time and have decided that we will try and got once a week!! It was nice quality time holding hands and hiking. It was nice sitting at the top having a heart to heart and looking out over the city!
Two days later my legs are still killing me and are super sore! It was all worth it for sure! but my legs hurt!!!
Here are two pictures. There was one with my and puppy but I forgot to take it off my phone.
